How Picnic Week handles the personal information you send us. Last updated 21 October 2026.

Who we are

Picnic Week is run by Digital Alchemy FZ-LLC, registered at FDRK2645, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (RAKEZ licence 47027031). We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us through the contact form or by post at the address above.

What we collect

When you use one of our enquiry forms we collect your name, email address, company or outlet and phone number if you give them, the type of enquiry and your message. The picnic spot form asks only for a place, a town or area and why you like it; please don’t include anything that identifies you. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this site.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details only to reply to you and to deal with any media or partnership request you make. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give when you tick the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to. Picnic spots may be shared on this site and in the media during the week.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is seen by our team. If it is about media coverage or a partnership, we share it with Relations Group Ltd, the UK PR agency that delivers Picnic Week‘s media work, so they can respond. Our website host (Hostinger), our network and security provider (Cloudflare) and our email providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.

Where it is stored

Your information may be processed in the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United Arab Emirates. Where it leaves the UK, we take steps to keep it protected to the same standard.

How long we keep it

Form enquiries are deleted automatically 12 months after they arrive. Emails are kept only as long as we need them to deal with your request.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking cookies. WordPress sets essential cookies only if you log in to manage the site.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Use the contact form and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commission.
