Picnic Spot of the Year 2027

Where is the best place in the world for a picnic? You decide. Nominate your favourite places, then vote for them in ten categories, from beaches and parks to theme parks and hidden gems. The place with the most votes in each category wins the title of Picnic Spot of the Year 2027.

How it works

1. Nominate. Tell us about a great picnic spot. We check every nomination before it appears. Nominations close on 31 March 2027.
2. Vote. You can vote in every category, up to two votes in a category each day, and never for the same place twice in a day. Voting closes on 17 June 2027.
3. Win. The winners are revealed on 18 June 2027, in time for the summer picnic season.

Venues and tourist boards

Is your park, beach, garden or attraction a great place to picnic? Nominate it, then share your link with your visitors, followers and newsletter list. Each place has its own link, so your fans land straight on your page and can vote in one tap. Winners may use the Picnic Spot of the Year title in their own marketing. Want to do more? Fair play

We limit votes and check for unusual patterns, so one person cannot swing the result. We do not store your name, email or full IP address, and the short code that stops repeat votes is wiped after 30 days. Read our privacy page for the details.
